“These Are The Flood Waters Of Noah!” - Isaiah 54;9

Rabbi Yaacov Haber

The Secret of the Rainbow

The Rainbow is an enigmatic image. After the mabul it was presented to Noach, and to us, as a sign that Hashem will never again destroy the whole world. This would seem to be positive. In fact the Zohar tells us that a bright rainbow will herald the birth pangs of Moshiach, a sign of good things to come.

Lakewood’s Ark

Rabbi Sender Haber

Do We Really Believe in God?

We talk and act as if we believe in God but do we really believe? Noach built an ark, gathered animals even devoted his life to warning people about the great flood.

After The Flood

There have never been as many institutions of Torah as there are today. Schools that were started then have record attendance. For those that took advantage of the time and rebuilt Yiddishkeit, Yiddishkeit was built. For those who put their energies into other movements and projects, they too succeeded. In under fifty years, as in Noah's vineyard, a miracle has occurred.
